Happy fall, y’all! It’s so great to see our little community continue to grow and learn from one another, and we’ve got a LOT happening in the next few days, so I thought I’d do a little round-up post.
- Our bi-weekly “reading” group is underway! We’ll be watching a 25-minute video from Brandon Rohrer, titled How Convolutional Neural Nets Work. You can join the conversation here!
- Our November book club kicks off tomorrow morning! We’ll be reading The Data Detective (if you’re outside the US//Canada the book is titled “How to Make the World Add Up”), and there’s an overview post here.
- I’ll be launching a brand new video series titled “Data + Curiosity” on our YouTube channel tomorrow at 10:30AM. This first video is an inside look at the Palmer Penguin dataset with Alison Presmanes Hill and Allison Horst, and you can catch the inaugural video with DJ Patil while you wait!
Thank you all for being here and participating in our community!
